Here is the frame built. You can see the side parts pretty well here, I made the side mosaic surfaces recessed just enough so the glass surfaces will be flush with the front edge of the wood. The 1x1 strip towards the top of the center panel will separate the lettering from the figure of Joan. The bottom of the frame is capped just like the top. Next comes the paint. Something dark, I think.
